What a shame for you Rachael. Wouldn't have thought they would have wanted their child on a drug treatment long term! As a parent that would be a huge consideration for me. So It could be still good for you.
Just got to wait now. We have a saying here 'Whats for you wont go by you'

Rachael, i am sure that whatever happens Oscar will be the winner, whether he comes to you, or can stay with his current family. Good luck.

Don't know Megan, the current family advertised him as purebred bearded collie, but they rescued him themselves, so that was probably the rescues guess. Any more guesses welcome Smile

If this one's not to be Rachael I'm sure there will be another beardie out there with your name on.

It's a very difficult place to be but I'm sure it will work out for the best.

Hoping you find just the beardie for you soon.

he also looks a bit like an Australia Sheppard dog.

Such beautiful breed, they are. I love Oscar's face, his long whispy hair and legs look very bearded collie.

Really hoping that it all turns out for the bet for you and that they let you know soon xx

Well, I can see a lot of Gorgeous in him! Awful being kept on tenterhooks for so long and such a shame your hopes were raised before deciding to try something else. Would like to think Oscar could stay with his family but feel for you ... so difficult Sad .
