Rowanne had her health check, worming, flea and kennel cough vaccine on May 20th then came into season over the next day or so, she's 9 months now. She was lethargic and a bit mopey but otherwise ok. It lasted for two weeks. Her vulva was swollen two days ago and last night I noticed blood again, not much, she keeps herself clean. She is bright, happy, energetic, eating well and loving. She has been humping pillows it his week. Why might she have 2 seasons this close.? Vet is 10 minutes down the road somI can call in tomorrow.

That shouldn't happen, I'd get a vet check in case there is a problem. Seasons usually last 3 weeks minimum so that isn't normal either, there could be a hormone imbalance going on there or beginnings of a pyo. Hope she's ok and it turns out to be nothing much, do keep us posted and good luck.

this can happen and have experienced it myself. Bitch came into season , was due to be mated watched decided she looked ready (way before we did bloods) and phoned the stud dog owners to say we would come over that evening - this was day 10, checked her that evening to cut away some hair and she wasn't in season Rolling Eyes no swolleness, no blood, no signs at all!! Spoke to someone with veterinary experience and was told it happens but to keep an eye on her and she could well come back into season 6-8 weeks later and count this as day 11.. Dog was examinied every day and sure enough about 8 weeks later she came back in and looked to be right on full season, went across to the stud dog the following day and got a mating then and again 2 days later, her season finished a week after that and we had 7 puppies. I know of at least 3 others who have experienced this

By all means if you are worried at all check with your vet
