Hi
Paul has very kindly agreed to help out with Beardies needing new forever homes or foster homes on Southern Beardie Aid by letting Belinda post details on here, it will also be linked to FBC Facebook page too, Belinda is absolutely bogged under with rescue and work at the moment and I have offered to post details, please feel free to share with anyone whom may be suitable or is looking for a rescue beardie, we will update this thread as soon as a Beardie becomes available or if an emergency foster is needed. Belinda can be contacted on belinda.steer@virgin.net phone 07540 268832 ,
At the moment there is a one year old male beardie called Jip, has been passed from home to home, he is good with children, good with other dogs but has had no training at all he can sit and can walk on a lead, picture below
Image
also a 6 year old neutered male beardie/border cross called Bertie, very intelligent, well trained, travels well in car, affectionate but on the down side seems to be noise sensitive, suffers from nervous aggression, does not tolerate entire male dogs, can not be homed where children will be present in the house
if anyone can or knows anybody that can..offer a forever home or emergency fostering to these and more gorgeous beardies please contact Belinda

Well done, Sue. What a load of idiots, invading our lovely site!

Could this thread perhaps be made a "sticky" so it can always be easily found? Or has that been done already?

I am not too sure what the status of this thread is right now, so please just remove my post if it doesn't meet the rules, or contact me by pm to make things right!

My French Beardie rescue association SolidaritÚ Bearded ("SB") has been trying to find a new family for a lovely sterilized male Beardie called Dixou, who is 7 years old. He has been staying in a foster family for quite a few months now, so the person in charge of rehoming at SB has suggested I could put an ad for him here. I can give you all his details (in English!) and some photos on request by pm if anybody is interested. Just one photo of Dixou taken recently by his foster family:
