Three days ago Hettie yelped just as she finished passing a stool. I took her straight to the vet, no problem with blocked anal gland but a few nodules on her right gland. Vet prescribed a week of antibiotics but yesterday she yelped as she ran to catch her ball and lifted her left leg as if in pain/discomfort.
I find it very distressing she looks straight at me for reassurance and a big cuddle, she will be 10 in November. Crying or Very sad

I think I would be going straight back to the vet. Very upsetting for you when you don't know what's wrong and therefore can't help. Sad

Hi and welcome to the FBC. I agree with Shirley, go back to the vet and tell them about the leg, it may be that there is a problem there rather than the anal glands.

Oh yes back to the vet, I guess you've been by now. How did it go?
