Oh NO! Don't stop, please. It is so lovely to follow such a wee beardie and to see the development over so little time.

I've had three beardies already and lost my last one just a couple of months short of her 18th birthday at the end of August last year. It has been a long wait for this one but it is getting shorter by the day.
Shirley

What colour are you getting Shirley and what sex? You must be so excited, he/she will be so worth the wait. Have you chosen a name or waiting to see what he/she looks like first. Sometimes you can choose a name, then you look at your little bundle and think, no doesn't look like a ***** at all lol

That's fine. Zebo is now 18 weeks old and VERY lively! He is constantly thinking up new ideas to keep us amused. Have a read of 'Zebo's exploits'. The weather here has been so wet of late that he has spent much of his playing hours with his toys indoors so his real 'creative ideas' have been under wraps. Our lounge is littered with over 50 toys which he gets out every day, but never remembers to put them away!!! That job falls to my husband. Smile He is teething at the moment so tends to rush out into the garden to select, and bring indoors, something worth chewing - a fallen tree branch, a plastic plant pot, plant labels, in fact, anything he can grab before he gets too wet.
He is always excited about going to Puppy Prep School on Wednesday evenings, but not for the learning!! He just loves meeting the other dogs and finds it frustrating that he has to stop and learn!! Last week the trainer brought out a huge box of toys - he was ecstatic when he saw it, but very disappointed when he was not allowed to choose one and had to make do with what he was given.
We are going away for a few days in our motorhome this week so that is a new experience for him, and probably us. Rolling Eyes

Life is never dull with a Zebo! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

May I correct this sentence to read "Life is never dull with a young Beardie"!!!

I love reading Zebo's exploits, they are never disappointing! Laughing Laughing Laughing I am therefore looking forward to reading Zebo's adventures in his motorhome! Laughing

The sea is still an unknown to Zebo but is on our 'to see' list very soon. If Mollie is anything like my last two then you are in for a wonderful, entertaining time. Very Happy Very Happy

This morning, I took Zebo for a long walk along the river bank and when skirting along the edge of a local golf club, he discovered ..... the sand bunker AND two ponds which are part of the drainage system as the excess rain makes its way down to the river - I will leave you to imagine what went on in those. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy This activity, coupled with the games he had with a Jack Russell terrier he met, meant we were an hour late returning home for his lunch, so he has gobbled that up in record time and is now behind the lounge curtain, sleeping peacefully. Smile

He is superb off the lead and comes back immediately he is called - I can't believe my luck and keep wondering when the bubble will burst! Smile

Enjoy your holiday - I know the Beardies will. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Shirley, prepare to have your heart broken - over and over - I think the selective hearing on recall has been the hardest thing to counteract - once he got a whiff of Her perfume all his senses vanished, along with him Rolling Eyes Not that he went far but I meant nothing to him compared with Her (and he had a wide choice Crying or Very sad )
