Well I went to ASDA and could not buy fresh or tinned pumpkin and my wife went to Morrisonís tonight and they donít sell it either. Sadly I could not make Pumpkin Gratin tonight. I will have to go to Sainsburyís but that's a bit out of the way so will have to wait till I am passing there.

I was so looking forward to that as well. Crying or Very sad

Oh poor you, Chris! Isn't pumpkin grown in most gardens in the UK as it is here, then?... Maybe you could start growing your own, why not! They look really great and colourful in a vegetable patch! I hope you can soon find some - maybe there's a farm shop or a market not too far from where you live where you could have a look?

I went to a friendís home this afternoon and there sitting in their living room was a very large pumpkin, I could not believe it. Shocked Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy . They had been pumpkin picking a couple of weeks ago. When they use it I can have some if I canít get any before then. Very Happy

Thanks Nina that's a good idea about the farm shop there are a couple not too far away and I still have Sainsburyís to try and Tescoís, canít leave them out.

The search continues. Very Happy

Your friends sound lovely, offering to share their pumpkin with you, Chris. But no doubt you will find some in a shop soon... Watch this space for the next chapter of the Pumpkin Search Saga... Laughing
