Hobbes says thank you for all the kind remarks... Smile

Here is a picture of him taken during his first swimming lesson last Thursday. I would have posted a video but don't know how on this means.

Although he loves paddling in the river down at the ford, he won't go out of his depth even when playing with other dogs. So I thought we would take him to swimming classes.

First we coaxed him onto the step then took him to the other side and back and rest on the steps again. Repeat and repeate..... The first five minutes he definitely did not enjoy but after ten minutes he settled and was essentially swimming. But a few more lessons are needed yet to build up his confidence...

Like with the car journey's. For a month we couldn't get him in the car without some trauma or other. Now I only have to pick up the car keys and he's rushing out to the car and sitting waiting to be let in.

Hopefuly we't eventually get the same results with the swimming Cool

Would that be water.... or perhaps sampling other drinks? Wink Wink

Hobbes will sneak a lick or two at your tea if you're not careful but doesn't like alcohol Very Happy Very Happy

Nope, darling boy doesn't do other drinks. He liked tea when he was a couple of months old but outgrew that. He doesn't even pinch the kittens' milk Confused
