Lets hope it Lasts for a wee while and soaks in! I've been wondering how you're all coping with the heat there. How are your dogs coping?
We had a very hot summer too. |

Jethro copes better than I do I bought him a cool jacket last week, seems to have made a big difference to him. He doesn't wear it all the time, just in the afternoons until bedtime around 10pm. Today WE HAVE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! First time since the Tuesday after the May Bank Holiday Monday |

...yep, rain and wind here too...not quite hard rain but enough to make a difference I think. It is lovely to see it and to smell it, but I had gotten used to the hot and dry! There is NO pleasing me.... |

Still warm here, a very pleasant 21° thank you very much, rain now stopped and the garden is feeling very thankful and the resident Toad is plopping about in his little hiding hole very happy indeed |

Haven't seen resident frog(s) - used to be 5 but only seen 1 this year - but the pond fish love the rain (11 of them). My kittens, now 8 months old, had never experienced the rain until now. Topsy not amused, Turvy fascinated. They've been in and out of doors all day today like mad things! Our temperature much cooler but not as much as yours Jacquie. I'm guessing around 20/21C. Jethro hasn't worn his cool coat today. Rain doesn't bother him unless its hail. |

Well, the same thought immediately popped into my mind, Judy.
And I also thought that Jacquie must have had an awful lot of rain if she has been washed out to sea. Hope she had time to grab her life jacket.

Oooooh - if she didnt grab her life jacket, I could get down my kayak from the attic and paddle out to her! Oh....I dont have a kayak....yerbut, my neighbours do...so Jacquie, if you are treading water anywheres, let me know and I shall come to your rescue! ( have to take my meds first though ) |

Not sure how or when I got washed out to sea are you sure you're not on the same meds as Judy Joy? We have had a lot of rain but it would take a heck of a lot to wash me out to sea from up here, think we're around 500 feet above sea level |

Jacquie! DONT PANIC! I have crampons AND a kayak! And binoculars! ( for when you do get washed out to see...the binoculars..so's I could find you...not the crampons...cos they wouldnt be much use at sea, would they....) |
