Has anyone tried the anaesthetic free tooth cleaning some groomers are offering? I read about this some time ago but it seemed to have conflicting opinions and I'm sure there was a warning about it. Just wondering as a friend of a friend has just had her dogs front teeth done and is going to get the back ones done too.

I have never heard of that - is it the one using ultrasound? It sounds good, but where does all the tartar, plaque go? If the dog swallows it the bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause serious porblems or cause quite an upset stomach.

That's a good point beardielady perhaps thar's what was causing the worry about it. It was a long time ago that I first heard about it and my memory is not good these days Laughing

Thanks Nina, I knew I'd seen something against it.

It makes sense, doesn't it? I just can't imagine Foxie standing quietly with her mouth forced open for some long minutes while someone was working on her teeth! Shocked
