This is a true story with slight exageration
It happened about Four years ago at the Royal Cornwall show ground at Wadebridge. Cornwall. The Show was finished and Angie (The Pimms Queen) like many other Dog owners decided to take her Dogs for a nice walk around the fields and countryside before heading home.
THE PIMMS QUEEN CLEANS UP AT DOG SHOW.
Three Beardie Boys were out for a walk at the Royal Cornwall Showground.
Meandering through beautiful fields of Green but what do you think that they found?
An overspill of Brown liquid silage...YUK...You can guess the next thing that they did.
They jumped in it and rolled in it, poor Angie flipped her lid.
She yelled at Alfie, Dylan and Flynn but it was all to no avail.
The Pimms Queens Dogs wallowed in in the Brown Silage and got covered from head to tail.
Angie uttered some well known expletives and some I think she invented.
She nearly passed out at the vile odour coming from her boys, which wasn't exactly Yasmin scented.
She took them to the toilets, she rinsed them down in the showers.
But the Silage smell from Hell would not go away and remained for hours and hours.
The boys looked so innocent when she put them in her Van, looks that said 'surely she can't hate us.'
The Pimms Queen drove off with watery eyes, in desperate need of breathing apparatus. |

Joe it rings truer than you know - I had a Battersea rescue dog of terrier type, mostly white with tan patches over his foxy face. He had this awful habit of getting out and going over the local slurry fields ... need I say more |

Oh my goodness Joe, the smell was horrendous wasn't it!! A day I won't forget in a hurry! The only untrue bit about this story is that Dylan was a good boy and didn't roll in it, we hadn't had him long at that point, maybe he didn't want to risk being sent back to his previous owners!
It wasn't long after that they put notices up on the door of the showers requesting that you don't take your dogs into the showers! Whoops!
I do have some photos somewhere but haven't got to grips with putting them on here since not using photobucket, must try harder! |

Well Poppy has just applauded them for the exceptional find
Poppy herself loves nothing more than a good roll in eau de muckspread
Or anything else that takes her fancy.

Hi Angie. If you double click on the photos as you've posted them, it brings them up a LOT LARGER (and I am totally useless with anything teckie - but it does work)
