Here we are, Wapi, Foxie and myslef, after a rather long drive from Carcassonne. Wapi is absolutely adorable, he is already sleeping on the sofa after a good sniffing around in the house and garden. Foxie seems to like him, she tried to play with him, but he has to become used to his new life first! His foster family told me that he played with her own dogs quite a lot only a few days after his arrival.
Wapi makes me think of Miss You so much I find it hard to believe... Could she have sent him to me to help me be less sad?...
Here he is, this morning in his foster family's garden with Foxie, and having a good rest after a long journey!

How is the little lad Nina? ... I imagine he may be a bit confused by his latest move, .. hope he very quickly realises what a lucky boy he is. ... Mx |

Thank you everyone! (and Judy, I loved that song!).
A few photos of Wapi & Friends. "Confused? Moi?"
Last night:
This morning - I had Wapi on a 10 metre leash for semi-freedom and safety on his first walk. Today is grey and damp, so the light isn't ideal to take photos:
And this afternoon - siesta time!
Of course I don't know what's going on in that little furry head, but I think he looks quite at home already, and he certainly recognized the garden gate when we came back from our walk this morning. Foxie is behaving quite well, not best friends yet but it's a promising start. With Naïs, no problem at all, and Biba, being the shy feline I know, even had a look at Wapi last night, peeping through the half-open door to the lounge!
Oh! And if you're wondering why Wapi is wearing knickers in the first pic, he was recently neutered and he is a first-class licker, so one of the stitches hasn't quite healed yet. A "lampshade" wouldn't be a good idea right now, so... knickers it is! If the problem hasn't sorted itself out completely by Monday, I'll take him to my vet and see what he says. |

Nina, he is really sweet - I love that in the photos, he is looking back each time to see where you are...and to see both Foxy and him, and then Nais and him on the sofa well.....that is such a great start! Bodes very well for the future. Have a lovely weekend, enjoy! xx |

I didn't realise that they were knickers ... I thought he had been for a swim somewhere and that they were his Speedos ... Fab Pics Nina, glad he has settled so well. |
