I truly don't know what to say....Sue was a one off...one of lifes givers........she used to get involved with Michelle and I in banter on fb.......
We used to joke that we were related because of Sadie and Chester being related.....Michelle told her that she had always wanted a sister.....don't think she could have picked a better one

Hazbo and Sadie, take care of your mum for us

Mike and family , our hearts go out to you

Love Pauline, Ron, Michelle, Ian.....and Chester
xx

Beautiful poem. Sue was obviously well loved by many people. Wish I'd had a chance to know her.

I just didn't want to post - don't want this to be true.
Such beautiful tributes and poems, every word spot on. Well, it would be.
My heart breaks for Sue's Mum, Mike, Hannah, Gareth and little Hollie - how cruel that Mother's Day is upon us with no escaping it.

Have always loved Gilly's photo, and was there having a laugh in 2010 when CJ's was taken. This one is exactly when I met Sue - Sophie and I had gone to the campsite to look for Nylon Southfork....but she didn't realise it was me from the FBC and thought I was just a member of the public wanting to take photos of Harry and Sadie, so she was getting them lined up. She shouted to us," If you like Beardies, come to that field at the weekend, there'll be about 50 there!"

Night God Bless, Sue, together again with Sam, Harry, Sadie and your other fur babies. Don't worry about Valerie xxxxxxxx

What can we say that hasn't already been said.
Sue was a very special Person, loved by all that knew her. Our thoughts are with Sue's family and her Friends.
You have left a big hole in many of our lives Sue, but we will try and fill it with memories of you.
Sweet Dreams, our Friend.

Gabi and Ian

Oh I'm deeply shocked and saddened to read this. I can barely believe it.

Although I never met Sue I feel I knew her. We exchanged private emails frequently, and jokes. I just don't have the words, but Joy that was lovely.
My deepest sympathy and thoughts go to Mike and all the family.

Sleep tight Sue and RIPxxxxxxx. With all your furry family.

Oh goodness, what sad, sad news. I am so shocked, not having known of Sue's battle - which makes her kindness, verve and good humour all the more remarkable.
I only met her once, at Kamp Kornwall, but through her frequent posts on FBC she was more an everyday part of our lives than that one meeting suggests. Thank you Sue.
My heart goes out to all her family at this sad time. Her beloved dogs will be there at the Bridge with her now, tails wagging at their reunion.
This world will be darker without her.

I was so deeply saddened to hear the news about Sue

I only met sue once at crufts, but she gave me a reassuring hug and kept checking to see if I was ok as she could tell I was nervous ,

I remember telling her how beautiful she was and she laughed
but she was beautiful on the inside and out

she was warm and friendly to so many people, always welcoming newbies

always one of the first to reassure others or show concern and never judge

she was always kind

Sue I wish I told you these things, but I think you knew just how dearly loved you were by so many

my thoughts are with all of Sue's family and dearest friends
Denise xxxxxxx

So shocked and saddened to read this news. I never met Sue in person, but, like others, felt as if I knew a little of her through her postings. My heartfelt condolences to Mike and the family.

Having been ill and trying to get myself better for Crufts, I didn't find out the news until this morning. I had a slight inkling something wasn't right, but nothing prepared me for hearing the news today.

I called Sue a friend, and although I didn't message her very often, she was often in my thoughts. Sue was one of those people you could just catch up with whether it was one month or a year since you'd last seen each other. As Pauline said, Sue was a "one off".

Onesies and wellies in Hampams awning that September in Perranporth was a time I shall remember.

Reading the moving tributes from people , especially from people who don't post regularly, is a testament to her warmth and personality. Everybody felt they knew 'Our Kentish' from her blogs - I can't quite believe there will be no more.

Sleep tight Sue - Reunited at last with your Harry and Sadie, and also Sam. My thoughts are with Mike and family left without you. I'm glad you got to know your little Hollie for a little while.

(In tears by the end of writing this)

Xxxx

Haven't been on the site in the past few days so only now am I hearing this sad news. When I joined back in 2008 feeling devastated after losing my beardie Sue was one of the first to help me through and I am so glad I got the chance to meet her at Crufts two years ago. Such a truly special lady.
Thinking of Mike and everyone who loved her

Joy that was lovely, made me cry again Crying or Very sad It was an honour to have known Sue and I will forever treasure my memories of her Crying or Very sad At peace now and reunited with her beloved Sam, Harry, Sadie. I will miss her sparkling wit and the world is a darker place without her. Like Gerrie, I was thinking of her last night while watching Crufts and will be making a donation to beardie aid.xx

Thinking of all those who knew and loved Sue.xx

I couldn't believe it when I heard the news, Sue was so always one of the first to help others where beardies were concerned, even looking up information to try and help them herself if she didn't know someone who could.

She will be a real loss to the FBCr's. I am sure her family know how well she was thought of and how much she will be missed.

So hard to imagine her writing Harry's blog while so ill herself - she should have written childrens book- she would have made a fortune.

She may not have been at Crufts this year but those that were toasted her , one thing for sure - she will not be forgotten.
