Oh Gerrie you poor thing - lets hope that Lizzie continues to be on the mend and that Mollie recovers quickly.

Thanks chaps. Having seen the weeks weather and seeing the girls much improved I decided to tak e them for a 15 minute sniffy walk in the sunshine wearing their big waterproofs, they hadn’t been out for ages. I was hoping to check poos but neither did anything Anyway sitting with leg up now and serving chicken dinners for girls in a while, then I shall have a warm bath and a very early night again tonight. So relieved that Liz is bright eyed and bouncy again. Have ordered some Feelwell probiotic biscuits for them too. Looks like the tree bark and probiotics and fasting and time came to a good outcome in the end |

Well Gerrie, I hope so too, it sounds as though you need a good rest. it is good that you are resting your knee up now. keep it up.
We are pleased to hear that the girls are getting back to their lively selves, may it continue.

xx Hope all is better for you, Gerrie...and that the girlies are getting better, also
Havent been posting much over the last 2 days, keep getting a hanging page, taking ages to go from thread to thread, and just now got a 502 error notification, which said that it was the site, and not me...phew...
So, until things get sorted ( have pm'd Paul ), it is very difficult for me to access the site. The rest of my internet connections are fine....
Hmmm. Perhaps you all are conspiring to keep me off the site?? It wonnnnnnnnnnnt worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk..... |

No up through the night again. Mol ok it was Liz again.
I went back to bed this morning after letting hens out and managed another three hours. Feel totally wrecked
Both dogs are bright with cold noses, bright eyes and wanting to eat and play. I have just ordered off Animeds some kaolin and probiotics which should arrive tomorrow.. the probiotic biscuits should arrive from Feelwell too so we shall take it from there. Will do vet if these don’t sort it.
Off out to buy chicken and white fish now. XX |

Gerrie, as Gilly says, some dogs can't tolerate chicken (My Flynn can't) so the vet said either white fish or duck is the best for an upset tum (you would think that duck was greasy but evidently not )
Hope that they are feeling a lot better now.
Judy, I've had problems getting on the site as well, not sure what is happening |

I am having trouble with site too
Mine are ok with chicken. They had a little with mash at 2:00 pm. Poor things are starving. I really don’t understand why they are fine all day and then from 11:30ish pm onwards it all kicks off again. They are fed early afternoon so it should have gone down by then .. mystery to me that one. Anyhoo folks, I shall be retiring silly early tonight and hope for the best. I am so spent energy wise and certainly need my beauty sleep |

Yes, everything on site so slow. but with patience happens.
Hope you have an undisturbed night and the girls are on the mend soon. I'm sure you don't want to be bombed with yet more advice, but just as another idea, boiled minced turkey mixed with sweet potato mash really does the trick - and is a bit of favourite with mine and various rescues I've worked with who aren't eating well. Sometimes just a different protein helps.
Sweet dreams and hope you are all better tomorrow.
