Well, Gerrie, it's always more fun doing a grotty job with someone else; just don't let them distract you, and, find time to sit down with them. Laughing

Lovely sun at the moment. I shall nip out with Millie and then sneak onto the lawn hoping these clouds don't spot the mower; fingers crossed.

I hope all of you across the Channel are having a GRRRREAT bank holiday, with lovely weather, BBQ's (with or without sausages Wink ) and various friends - Gordon and Schweppes, Mr and Mrs Pinot Grigio, or (in my case) Mr Laphroaig, come to visit all the way from the Scottish isles... Laughing No bank holiday here but May 8th (next Tuesday) is a national holiday (end of 2nd World War) so lots of people who work have taken Monday off and are enjoying a super-long break!

Enjoy Nina. Hope your weather is as good as ours.

I have come back with some good bargains plantwise and three very old gardening pieces as decoration in the cottage garden. Two old forks .. Victorian and a very old metal watering can as a planter. Oh and a bacon roll, that is new Very Happy

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Nice thread this ... Hope you all have a fab day, Gerrie has clearly made an early start and has already registered a 7.3 on the AQ scale (Achievement Quotient) by hunting down a vintage Bacon Roll and some 'andles for forks. I am heading out with Mac and Tali for a lazy walk across the fields .. then, i will sit in the garden and watch the grass grow ... whilst sipping some home made lemon barley ... and reading a book ... through closed eyes. Multi-tasking? Yeah, us blokes can do it too. Wink Very Happy
Enjoy your day. Xx
