So this is what groomers use for calming dogs.
And apparently works for fireworks
So I get one for Poppy . Comes as a 2pk.

Don't be pitying her LOL. She got ample treats for being a good girl and she won't be parading the streets in it. So it will be just me & Bryan doing the humiliating LOL

And more seriously, I can't find this type of thundershirt anywhere, just the standard one (like a large harness, with scratches to fix it)... I'd love to have a closer look at the ones you've bought, Kathryn, as I wonder if I couldn't knit one for each of my dogs (yours would be perfect, in fact, the bigger one for Foxie, and the smaller one for Miss You) as the silly girls have been afraid of thunderstorms for the last 2 years or so, before that they were calm and relaxed throughout any kind of storm...

Nina they are called Happy Hoodies and are a thick towelling material.

Aw, Kathryn; just whisper into her ear that if she is planning on robbing a bank she is supposed to cut out eye holes, and leave the nose free for sniffing.

Dur, amateurs. Laughing Laughing Laughing

That is good to know, Issy; so much more reassuring having a recommendation from you know rather than an annonymous post; especially when I know how well you look after your babies.

Lots of love

Thank you very much, I've looked at the website and the video is quite impressive! I haven't seen any French website that sells the "Happy hoodie" on line, but I think that, to avoid expensive p&p costs, a thick towel or a fleece blanket folded and sewn into the shape of a cowl would probably have the same effect?... I will try it and let you know! Wink

I would think so to, this is quite snug and elastic, I have read that people have used the crepe bandages. Sorry Nina I know Crepe is a something you eat in France but don't know what you would call it over there Laughing stretchy bandage Laughing
