Although the vet was very happy with Huxley, he looked healthy and gums looked well. The blood results were still low so he had your go back to the vets for more bloods to get taken and this time they will be sent away. The vet is hoping that the machine that was used was faulty.
So hopefully tomorrow will be positive results. He is so much more alert and playing with his toys, something that he hasn't done for 3 weeks

I will update again tomorrow xx

So pleased and relieved to be able to share this news.
Huxleys pcv is now at 40, still slightly under what it needs to be. But the Bone Marrow is working fine and he will be doing just fine xxx
He won't be chasing Seagulls just yet much to his Dismay LOL but I'm sure he will be up for it .

Huxley update.
Huxley has been back to the vets tonight and although he is a lot better in himself there is according to Angela his vet some concern as his bloods are still not right and something is causing this.
He is still Borderline non-regenerative anaemia which could be secondary to chronic/inflammatory disease. The presence of mechanical damage to red cells suggests an association with liver disease, heart failure, glomerulonephritus, hemangiosarcoma.
We can only hope that these cells that are showing up are ones that have been damaged by the trauma and that the next lot of bloods will see an improvement.
Please keep Huxley in your prayers, and to my friends that don't know Huxley and his Mum & Dad I thank you for caring. Me & Bryan think of and love Huxley as our own.

He is surrounded by love and white light from here, always...I bet you are right and those blood results are a result of his illness and trauma, and not pointing to anything worse...nose kisses for him
