I hadn't been on Nix's Facebook page for quite some time, so I didn't know her Fripp had been so poorly! So now I've read the whole story here and I'm so relieved that he is back home and well! Fripp comes from the same breeders in the South of France as my Foxie, Victory Wind's Kennels, and were both born in 2010 but they have different mums - I can't remember if they have the same father though. |

Fripp Update Tuesday Late Afternoon
Well what a day... the traffic was very slow so it took us almost two hours to do a 50 minute journey. It was so hot and although I have air con Fripp was in the back with the sun shining in. I was getting a bit desperate when suddenly the traffic started to move.
He was a bit weird when we got home, he just wanted to go up the road so we had a little wander but he’s only allowed three ten minutes walks on the lead for now.
We’ve been home for a couple of hours and he’s settled now. He wanted to go upstairs but not allowed, neither is the sofa so for the next few nights I’ll get the sofa, he’ll get the rug.
I think we can all relax but they are keeping a very close eye on him for the next few weeks. Hopefully the infection will stay away and he will get stronger and stronger. |

Fripp Bedtime Update From Home Tuesday Evening
Fripp has been really well, he’s alert and he’s eating really well. He’s allowed three ten minute walks and he’s had those but he wanted to go further each time.
He’s not allowed upstairs and he usually sleeps on my bed so I didn’t have a bed for him. Now he’s got a very expensive bed, my best winter duvet which is one of the things I hadn’t packed yet. He had a little poo earlier for those of you interested in that sort of thing and it was okay, better than the last few 🤔 He’s taking his antibiotics like a man with the help of some sausage.
When we have an accurate figure for the donations I will let you all know how much you raised but take it from me, it was an incredible amount. When I do that I’ll also tell you what the veterinary bills came to so you know exactly where your money went. I’ll probably post a pic of the last page of the four page bill, the bit with the amount to pay on it 🙂
I was wondering today what I would have done if you guys hadn’t started the fund and there must be so many people in my position. I know what would have happened, they would probably have removed the kidney because that would have got rid of all the problems but in Fripp’s case, his other kidney would only have sustained him for about six months 😪
You have given Fripp a new chance of life and we are sooooo grateful, thank you 😘😘😘

Wednesday Morning Update
Doesn’t need any words does it 🙂🙂🙂 We both had a really good night and Fripp’s been taking his ABs like a good boy. He’s not interested in his normal food of course, too many sausages around. The vet said it doesn’t matter what he eats at the moment, just important that he eats something.
His wound is looking good, I have to check it each day and he can have the staples out next week and then I can increase his walks bit by bit but still on the lead. He wants to go further than his allowed ten minutes and I know that’s a good sign but it’s hard looking at the pleading face. All in all everything going really well.

He looks so much like my Lizzie, could be her twin brother.
Glad he is on the mend. I took the decision to cancel my pet insurance after 12years paying in. Must be mad .. yes I know, but they hiked it up by another £25 per month coz they were having a birthdays and I saw red. It’s not a service it’s a money making opportunity I have never asked them for a penny |

Because he is not allowed to walk far at the moment, Fripp persuaded Nix to drive him to the park todayso they could have a little walk then sit and enjoy the sun. |
