I've been clearing out an old file on my pc and discovered a forgotten cache of emails - many from 2007-11. There are a few lovely ones from Sue Verrell and Gilly, and many from Janis Churton, names some of you won't even recognise!

This message is mainly to say, I'm still here, with Dave, although Daisy went to Rainbow Bridge earlier in the year, and I've not forgotten you, and hope some of you at least remember me and my Ds.

with love
Belinda and Dave - the last remaining D xx

Hi Belinda, so good to hear from you. I remember the first time we met, Sue and I were in the same hotel and CJ very bravely invited us all for a meal.

So sorry to hear about Daisy, but glad to hear that you still have Dave.

I have kept every email i received from Sue - just cannot bring myself to even cull them a bit. Am writing this on Satalite Sue (Sue's laptop) which our lovely friend left to me.

The year you and Janis came to Corwall, was a fun weekend. Sue was in her element with Dave and Daisy.

The rest of the old gang (plus some new to you) still meet in chat most evenings around 9.30 so come and say hi one evening.

Gilly xxx

I know, Gilly. I'm busy saving all the one from the both of you and CJ. I think I spent most of 2007-2010 on FBC!

Hi Belinda.
It is good to see you back; quite a long time since we last saw you. Sorry to hear your sad news. It's lovely to catch up with old friends mails isn't it, but hope you will be able to spend more time with us.

Joy and Millie.
Xxx

Hi Belinda,
How lovely to hear from you 😀
I was only thinking about Janis last week... which inevitably lead me to wander about Dave, Daisy and yourself. You were such a tower of strength to Janis helping with Dave, then adopting him eventually.

Iím sorry to hear that Daisy is at the bridge; she will be in good company.

Hi Belinda Lovely to hear news from you. Sorry to hear about Daisey. Give Dave a cuddle from. I always remember Janis whenever I see Ugg boots.

How did Janis' son do at University, are you in touch still.

That year in Cornwall seems so far away now Sad

Hi Belinda, CJ has been in contact with me as she cannot get signal to post at the moment so has asked me to post the below reply to you with love x

Hi Belinda, so very good to hear from you, although I am truly saddened to hear of the loss of Daisy. I do hope dear old Dave is proving a comfort to you, although Daisy will have left a desolate space in your heart

We tragically lost our beloved Jago in March of this year (awful RTA) and are still struggling to come to terms with our devastating loss. We definitely are still far too raw to contemplate another, but have filled the 8 months since with almost non stop international travel (currently in NZ) and have had, I suppose and some might say, a fantastic year visiting far flung places. But we would give it all up in a heartbeat to have our boy back.

I so remember our first meeting, when you were at Crufts, and you, Gilly and our beloved Sue came for supper. What fun we had, considering none of us had ever met in the flesh before. But we all hit it off and had a wonderful time. Happy memories, so many losses since then, but we are all still here to support each other. Please stay in touch Big hugs to you and Dave, and remembering forever those at the bridge, including Janis, Jago and Daisy. Xx
