I'm in my own little 'ome struggling to even stand, let alone walk, with the effects of a trapped nerve in the base of the spine. Such is the dedication my two young and energetic Beardies have for me that they race around with pleasure when a close friend takes them out for their morning romp! |

Ooooh Shirley, that sounds very painful, sorry to hear that...hope you can mend soonest.
Sandie - back to work, young woman!
For me, I am at home with a load of washing soon to be hung on the line, just did bills - as in, paying vast amounts of money out, not Bill's washing |

Yes Judy, it was a nice get together - beardies, (and some 'non beardies'), a fun show, and about a million calories worth of cake!! Hence swimming session this morning to burn it off! |

It's exam season still, so more invigilating for me to do this week, although it is only Mocks.
Off to France next week for July. After last year's scorcher of a summer over there (regularly over 40 degrees), I've got some cool coats for Dougall and Fergus, which at the moment is looking like I won't need. |

I was wondering too Judy I've been helping a friend with a 'complaint' letter today and doing a bit of gardening. Very muggy here though, expecting Thunder tonight |

! Helen...just seen something on the BBC news site - or somewhere like that - that said that France is expecting 40 degrees in the coming days and they arent sure how long it may last....hopefully will be over by July!
I managed to get laundry hung up and nearly dry and dealt with some triffids in my yard... |

Day off today, so longer Brodie walks, yippee. Visit to hand specialist with mum after her wrist fracture last year and then avoided doing any of the jobs I should have done on a day off. Result! |

OMG I've had a decent day and feel guilty now
Shirley, hope you feel better soon
SandY, my heartfelt sympathies - you're very good to be burning off the calories so soon - I've all but given up
Chris - sorry about your dad in hospital, hugs xx
I've unexpectedly caught my little feline perishers and they are IN for the night so all's well here |

Still lurking busy working, walking the dogs and playing with horses.
In between been wasting time watching this little beastie, our highland mare produced a gorgeous filly foal for us.

Bonnie....do you mean you are ON Love Island or.....indulging in watching it..... Our favourite is Henry Cole's " Shed and Buried " series... |

Judy they’d only let me “on” if I went in as the cleaner . What channel is Shed and Buried on?
Sandie the American version starts over here July 9th and I read the UK is having a winter Love Island this year so it’ll be Love Island all year round

Bonnie, Shed and Buried is on Quest - google Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove - they search out motorbikes, old tractors, petrol pumps, memorabilia...incredibly watchable and they are both lovely...Henry is a great great nephew of Gladstone...anyway, fun series to watch |

Amazing how discombobulating it is when the internet, radio and tv are silent...bit scary how used one is to them, isnt it...
Very overcast and misty here this morning, looks to be another close and sticky day. Just off for my walk... |
