Good morning everyone.
Wondering if anyone has come across/dealt with a condition called senile endothelial degeneration/corneal dystrophy.
Fergus's eyes have gone a very cloudy grey colour. We have been referred to and seen a dog eye specialist.
We have a cream and drops to use 4 times a day which has cleared up some cornea ulcers he had. We are hoping these will be sufficient but if not in time he will need further surgery to prevent him going blind. Bearing in mind his age (12 this week) there are a few concerns for this.
If anyone has any advice to give, it would be most welcome.
I believe it's not a very common condition.
Many thanks.

So sorry to hear this Helen, poor Fergus. I don't have any experience of this condition but hope there will be someone able to help. |

Sadly I can't offer any experience with that rare disease, poor Fergus ! And poor you, who are no doubt very worried. Have you tried BeaCon for Health? There might be other dogs who have had the same problem? |
